I honestly thought upgrading my manual installation of WordPress from 2.2 to 2.6 was going to take a lot longer. But it was really a snap when I used the import feature on another install of WP. I was really glad to having the update out of the way, and look forward to using all of the new features on a bulk of content such as this. I had so much extra time that I decided to port my look onto a new theme.

It was high time for a redesign of the blog. Well here it is. Completely without warning. There are some spiffy new features due to the Structure theme. It was a little hard to let my completely self-built worpress theme go but for now I think this is the best choice.

I spent most of the morning porting the general look and feel of my minimalist theme into the Structure theme. As for the original theme that I built for my own personal use, I will be tightening it up and releasing it as a Wordpress 2.6+/- compatible theme.
