Well one of my favorite things about it is that you can export to other word processors and the like, allowing you to work on projects on other computers without installing any software.

I’ve had a play with Google Docs and its quite nice. However, since I’ve used Word and Excel for years, and have to at work. I can’t see myself switching over to Google Docs.

I don’t even do Word anymore. Everything I do is done with Docs. Bob Ritchie is absolutely right. MS Office is going to disappear and be replaced by (free) apps focused on remote collaboration.
