For me, seeing sites rely purely on apache log genetated stats is like going back to 1997. 

I need ecommerce / adword / emailing conversion tracking and all the other golden goodies google analytics provides.</description>

		<description>I personally prefer Google Analytics because it testified itself as the best option for me. I especially like the fact that it ignores bots. With AWStats for instance, you can easily get 100x higher traffic than it really is.

About 2 months ago I was about to buy a site which claimed to have approximately 100 daily visits. After telling the owner to install G Analytics there and after seeing the real statistics, I gave up that deal :) .</description>
