Summer festival time again

Today is July 7th 2007. 07.07.07 - Supposedly the luckiest day of the year. I am currently missing out on some ginourmous events. Aside from experiencing CTV’s broadcast of Live Earth from the quality standard of northern Ontario bush cable, I think I may have picked a bad year to leave Iroquois Falls. ;)

There are two really great summer festivals in Iroquois Falls. Number 1 being the Porquis Blues Festival and, sitting at a not so distant 2, is Iroquois Falls Summer Paperfest.

Today the 10th annual Porquis Blues Festival is officially underway. The 10th anniversary is a pretty big deal. This will be the first in 5 years that I have missed.
